MOTOROLA MILESTONE, I WANT YOU!

Date: Friday, June 4, 2010 11:12 PM

Today's Dining in was great. Comparatively the MBTI talk and career talk was mediocre. But i got really inspired by the career talks given. Esp the one by the surgeon and the dentist. The dentist looks like michelle chia's husband!

Geng Hao was sitting between me and Yu Yun so he had to tolerate our talk about him HAHA. About how his personality seems good and he seems nice to talk to(the dentist). GH was like,'ER?'

MBTI talk was a rather huge disappointment.

Mr Robin Robbins The test over generalized in my opinion.

Based on the results of the test i am an extrovert. I may not be quick to disagree but i do not agree either. I like to talk(true) but i think before i talk. I don't say non-meaningful things unless i want to joke around. But i like to joke around. I like to read! Despite what Mr Robbins says of 'extroverts', i am not one to be the centre of a conversation(that is in groups). If i am talking to a person who i have common interest with i can talk for hours. I think reasonably and i use my practicality to make decisions. But i drag my feelings inside too. I am very observant(i think because since young i've always wanted to be a detective). I like to ppl watch. Observe people and their behavior. So i tend to know and see what i see. But i like to have an artistic mind and whenever i think of something i think of the endless possibilities, i put my passion into it. I dwell deep into something( a poem, a quote, a phrase, an action etc) to think of what it means. I LOVE LIT. HAHAHA you'll probably say i'm a freak. Up till here you can see how much it contradicts with the supposed stereotype of an extrovert. Yet you can see how i am extrovert. I love to meet new people. I love to express myself and what i feel.

I love to analyse things!! Yet i always let my feelings overcome me. But i am a very rational person regarding decisions that revolve more around external / materialistic stuff. I am analytical but i love to be creative!! I use my intuition but i also use my information and weigh my options!

What i am trying to say is that nobody is THIS. Or that. I don't believe 1% about what Robin Robbins said today about extroverts and introverts. Why do these type of stereotypes exist?

We are told to take it at face value which i agree. But i must say that nobody can be just like what their results say, even if their self estimated one is totally the same as their actual test result.:D:D

It is a cool test though:D

I like to critic movies and give comments on stuff etc:D I hope to be able to write and critic movies or critic stuff on the newspaper in my free time when i grow up. And be a free time photographer. Photography is my lifelong passion.

I WANT TO BE AN ANALYST! Analyst in what i don't know HAHA. Or someone working in aviation industry. Or brain/social researcher. Or creative director. I'm interested in the brain, social stuff(ppl) , design, art, music, and the nervous system. HEHEHEH

I love all my friends. Thank you for giving me such a great time today and such wonderful and FUNNY memories.

A mother's love
Date: 3:28 PM

Shall type a poem i wrote last month. Or last last month.

It doesn't have complicated vocab or whatsoever. It is just expressive with simple words.

I got inspiration for the first line while i was bathing and the phrase kept drifting in and out of my head.

A mother looks at her son
in her eyes other than him there's none
So great is a mother's love
it far exceeds the depth of oceans
Her rough, weathered hands clasp his
and like sun rays on a cold morning
The warmth is dancing

Just now while in the car my mum asked in chinese," Hui Jie, you won't go and enter early relationships right?"

Me*wary : What you mean by early relationships? How old?

Mum: These days got a lot of people start dating at around 19 plus...you won't right? I think it's counted early leh

Me: HAR 19 GOT EARLY MEH??19 already UNI!!!!! Or POLY YEAR THREE! It's okay what. Aiya i also cannot guarantee that i won't date early mahhh~~

Mum: Why you so agitated? I never say you cannot:) (teasing)

Me: Aiya i then don't want later date late then marry late then i won't live to see my children grow up!!!(exagerrated)

Mum: 想这么远啊 (teasing)

Haha then we laughed. Don't want to marry late! Later when my children grow up i will be sixty plus seventy plus. No way man. I wanna be there with them! And do things with them.

Whatever i can't predict my future anyway. I just wanna marry someone i love and who loves me and who will not cheat on me and is not selfish.

My image of good men has been tarnished actually. Don't really think that there are a lot husbands who don't cheat on their wives. :( :( Hai. What a bad social phenomenon. :O But maybe a few years down the road it will be different. Ok maybe i am kidding myself.

Also, many teenagers scratch that, 90% of teenagers don't date with marriage in mind. That's my calculated statistic. According to HJ's Statistics . (I used to use HJ Statistics in my Chi Formal letter and the teacher even accepted it. But since that time the teacher said cannot anyhow make up statistics i decided not to do it already. HEH) It's really hard to date and with marriage in mind. Really. Especially for teenagers nowadays.

But it is sure that this generation of adults cannot be compared with our generation of future adults. It will be very different.

Hmmm.

Reinhard Bonnke spoke today at Asia Conference.

I received his book from my aunt when i was 11/12.

My aunt introduced me to God when i 10. I read his book and feel that he's a really strong evangelist.

Greatly regret not going today.

I'm listening to Alexi Murdoch right now.

His songs are so beautiful. All right i admit i'm seriously lazy to blog.

I'll rather surf Facebook but well.

Have all of you noticed that Africa has some of the world's coolest names for states?

Nigeria. Mauritius. SINGAPORE. ETC.

I love Jamaica. BECAUSE it houses most of the world's best runners. <3>

His laugh was certainly eccentric and contagious. I was laughing the whole way.
Cool much? Had great fun. There was one part where all of us were ambling to take photos with him: peering out of the pathetic small window of the Microsoft LivingLab(FIRST IN THE WORLD.LOL) and got seen by teachers who called us to come out. Embarrassing much? We were like crazy fans. Though before this occasion i didn't know who is Steve Ballmer. I only know Steve Jobs. ^^

My phone is acting like a stubborn kid. It has switched off automatically for the FOURTH time in ONE hour==

Crazy monkeys
Date: Friday, May 14, 2010 11:34 PM

Hello.

Oh so my blog is not really dead. HAHA.

Today i went out with Janet, Li Ting, Geng Hao, Christon and Jun Jie to watch Ip Man.

IT ROCKS SOCKS K.

It's really interesting how martial arts can train the soul. I want to learn!

And donnie yen's moves are so solid and effective man. Before watching the movie we went to Yoshinoya to eat and there was this very enthusiastic lady who helped to make seats for us (6ppl) which meant that others had to re-seat themselves.

LOL. So we couldn't really reject eating there. Anyway Yoshinoya is nice, no complaints.

So after the movie we walked about and sat the elevator to the SKY. Which doesn't even have a nice sky view. Btw it's at Iluma.

And while walking, we saw a very very very very handsome guy.

HANDSOME LIKE...

MORE HANDSOME THAT BRAD PITT. MORE HANDSOME THAN ROBERT PATTINSON. MORE HANDSOME THAN HUGH JACKMAN.

I regret GREATLY not taking one more look at him.

I was like so shocked when i saw him. LOL have to rephrase i sound like a person who gawks at ppl.

As janet says, she wishes the time can turn back. HAHA SO SHE CAN GET ONE MORE LOOK.

Li Ting: "Huh where is the guy? I never see!! Aiyo why you all never tell me!!

After that we went NL(National Library) and sat the elevator. For like 5 minutes. Hogged it so we could experience the thrilling 14 storey plummet. LOL. But it wasn't very exciting.

We 'camwhored' and while jumping over small little posts just outside the ENTRANCE of the NL, this security guard came over to stop us. We were like mad rabbits hopping around. Or ok probably only me.

Which is epic. More epic is geng hao even jumped right in front of the security officer even after the officer told us not to do that.

And after that Christon and i went to jump over railings near the cafe at the entrance of NL.

I think many ppl saw. I feel embarrassed now. LOL.

And GH said some ppl took photos of us. Later upload to stomp!

HAHA okay i am  in love with this sport called parkour.

Since young i've been jumping and climbing so it is really great for me. But dangerous.

Christon says should stick to just jumping over railings and boulders. HAHA maybe.

But i gotta learn how to do a cartwheel and a back tuck.

Seriously.

:D:D
