Not mocking any race here,but i don't understand how Americans can suntan for so long.Don't they feel the heat?

If i were to suntan for more than 5 minutes,i would be damned bbq already!Not to mention i don't need a tan D:

Americans practically suntan for an hour or so!!!My goodness.I would be too preoccupied with the scalding of the heat(Soooo pain!!) on my skin.
