Just listened to Susan Boyle on America's Got Talent.

When she went up there on the stage and reported her age,Simon Cowell was smirking at her and the audience was raising their eyebrows with incredulous expressions.

When she sang her first note,their jaws dropped.

She sang I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables.It made me sort of angry that people are so EVER READY to judge a person based on their appearance.

People were laughing at her.

Of all the judges,only Amanda Holden said,

I am so thrilled because I know that everybody was against you. I honestly think that we were all being very cynical, and I think that's the biggest wake-up call ever. And I just want to say that it was a complete privilege listening to that."

Really.

I know many people have voices better than her.But hers was the sweetest sound ever.Very touching.

When she just started walking into the backstage right after singing,expecting nothing,i really felt for her.

My heart warmed when they called her back.

Looks don't prove anything.Its the personality,the ability that matters.

She was so sweet it made my heart ache.If the people had just looked at her and dismissed her just because of how she looked,look how BIG A TALENT would have been wasted?

I even saw one teenage girl snickering there.Haha.For all that was worth after Susan sang her first note.Really!!!!

Susan Boyle said,"

I know what they were thinking, but why should it matter as long as I can
sing? It’s not a beauty contest."

I hope anyone who has dismissed others just because of how they look can reflect on themselves.

As for Susan Boyle,rock on!
