Does anybody's parents encourage them to drink?

Well, mine does. Not my father, but my mother. My mum loves to drink red wine and beer and she has a great stomach for drinking. She drinks not very often though. Like once a month or two or none at all. The biggest reason is because it is known that red wine improves blood circulation and can aid in health when drunk in moderate amts.

She gives me red wine (even when i am unwilling) to drink sometimes. Like half a cup.

Seriously, a lot of people say red wine needs patience and taste to appreciate. I get it. But to me right now, it doesn't taste as nice as champagne or coffee. But i think it's great. Great to know how to drink. So won't be at a disadvantage in future.

I really think my mum prepares me for things by letting me experience them ( these type of little things only).. very american-style parenting. And life is really more of a practical experience than a theory experience, ain't it?

So i just drank a few sips of beer just now, because my mother said she let me drink a few sips( i didn't ask) while i was drinking my chocolate milk, which she didn't notice. LMAO.

So I tried to mix both of them together. But really you just get the beer taste. And Singapore beer is not a match for Vietnam beer. Not that i like it so much, sometimes I even hate beer, but i can compare the difference(:

I'm sure that everyone has a love/hate relationship with alcohol.

And today's beep test? I screwed it up. By giving up after 5-2.

Which really is stupid of me. I should have continued if i can. Gosh,i need to work up my mental resilience. And great job to Janet for her 6-10. Brilliant effort man.

SS lesson

I realize i have not been blogging recently.

Well,i am definitely guilty of abandoning my blog. Every time i use the computer i go straight to Facebook. =X

Today's SS lesson was charming. As usual, Mr Ong's charmed Kristine and me with his VOICE.

He really has a deep and nice-sounding voice.

His lesson was HILARIOUS and it got me interested in the politics of war and what happened. Though i have always been sort of interested in it, his lesson today piqued my interest more.

So much that i googled Korean War and am going to visit the website he gave us regarding SAF. The media portrays SAF wonderfully and their advertisements rock. Makes me feel like joining NS myself. Ha-ha. I said feel like ONLY=)

Totally-No-Hope Missiles. Interesting. I'm just abit pissed off he thinks we girls are uninterested in that kind of thing. So he doesn't elaborate. I was hoping he would. And i was hoping he would not think that we are all muggers and have mugged the chapter(when we have not even read whole of it ) thus not going through much with us. But today's lesson was a delight^^

You know, the things he says about the nuclear bombs and N.K threatening S.K to give them food and other supplies and how all these work really fascinate me. I love history. Just that reading about war and military in the newspapers(TST) is just CERTAINLY NOT as thrilling as listening to a passionate person explain to you about it.

So i don't really know much about these, despite wanting to know. I am bored just by seeing The Straits Times cover page. I keep convincing myself that someday i will read The Straits Times everyday. I do read other newspapers everyday-i make it a point to- newspapers like Today, My Paper,Life! and DL, and Urban. Chinese newspapers are welcome just that i don't order them. And chinese newspapers are so filled with ads, although they are filled with entertainment and lesser news. But sometimes they are filled with empty entertainment. Like EVERY MOVEMENT of a celebrity has to be recorded==

Today's chemistry lesson-GREAT!! SPA rocked. The copper (II) sulphate crystals were really pretty. And watching them turn from powder form to anhydrous form really is one of the highlights of this SPA thingy.

Oh, life is great. I slacked today coz tmr no lesson. I have loads of EMATHS HOMEWORK undone. Can someone teach me how to do review Qns 12? It really requires racking brains.

Tmr is OLE. We will be missing P.E on Fri, which i am deeply deeply deeply sad about=(

Really. Sigh:(

Haha. Ok think i'm gonna end my post here.

I got A1 for my chinese. Goodgood.

My cousin got an aggregrate of 9for o'lvls!! Minus minus-able marks will be 5. Proud of her man!!~=D

Today after we got back our o lvl results we had cell in 4R1 classroom. Thanks Yi Ren!!You did a great job!

Nice songs=))

Just completed more of the bio project, now off to ss. SS test tmr. :X

CITY HALL

I am watching a new korean show (haha ) called City Hall and it rocks!!

The female lead is the female lead in the 我叫金三顺 show and the male lead is really handsome. Hehe.

Although he is like,38 years old already-.- He really has charisma. And he's like 188cm tall..almost a foot above the other male actors in the show. I love the female lead too. I watched the show initially because of her:)

Must watch City Hall!!

Pissed off with my printer. and fingers. On my first and second fingers there are BUBBLES...in chinese...paopao...

Very pain. From plucking the strings in cello. Grh. I can't type at all using my first finger or click using the mouse or else it will hurt like mad. They are like two white stones on my finger.

My printer can't work properly and although it can print colour, it stops its ink halfway and then the words start appearing again. I might as well don't print my english webquest, which i STILL haven't handed in bcoz of my printer and my computer,which rebelled yesterday by refusing to switch on even after i onned and offed my com like a million times. It just wouldn't start:X

HAHA anw i got some news to tell you i'm gonna start in the next post because it's a happy one!! It's not news actually, just what i wanted to say. HEEHAW.

Hello people! It's 2010!!

May everyone have a great and blessed year ahead=D

2009,

i've made a lot of new and great friends-shan xuan,etc:D

learnt a lot of things-about morals..and friendship

i went out a lot(break record!the year i went out most!)

i've matured more!(not i say de,a lot of people said that=D)

i had my downs..

but what are the ups without the downs?

So,2010!!I welcome you with open arms. 8D

Yesterday i went to my ah ma house for the countdown party..=DD

We had buffet...and the eclair!!!!We ate a lot. Plus hash browns!

After that we(me,Xing Min,Jia Yan,Hui Zhen,Pei Yi) went up to Xing Min's room to play.Act.=D

We acted impromptu about confronting boyfriend snatcher...LOL. At first we kept laughing.

After that,we went upstairs to play games with little cousins=D

Blind mice,charade,and the fold-the-mat-and-make-everyone-squeeze-into-the-mat game.

For blind mice, we all delibrately let the smaller ones win...i saw that i was the second last 'big' people(compared to the 4-8yrolds) and i quickly got out of the game.

It was VERY FUN though.

And the charade,HORRIBLY FUNNY.

I totally roared with laughter everytime a person made the wrong action from the one shown to him/her.

But...LOL...for me to laugh. My group got last. Haha!

Then we went downstairs to help take packet drinks(supposedly) We went to the barbecue area and ate some of their satays and hotdogs and drank blackcurrant before taking their drinks to them.

We ended the games at about 11.45,and ran downstairs to snatch the snow spray thingy and the pop-pop thingy. LOL. I don't know what it is called.

Then somebody started shouting TEN,NINE,EIGHT,SEVEN,SIX,FIVE,FOUR,THREE,TWO,ONE! As usual and we started popping off our knick knacks.

As usual,i had a hard time popping them off(: We played the fireworks stick thingy and after that,waited to be bombed by water balloons careening from the second floor to the place we were coz they were refreshing.

I went to wash my hands with XM and we started splashing water. A cousin said," Wah where you go??Wild wild wet?"

lol.

I went up with XM after that and my sister and we took the first photo of 2010.

First things...we always count these things. Last year,we counted the first food we ate of 2009-rojak.

This year,first photo,first drink-blackcurrant,first food-grapes.
